Quintana Roo will have new air routes coming from Moscow, Russia, and Quebec, Canada

Result of the products and tourist promotion actions led by Governor Carlos Joaquín, through the Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo (CPTM) and the State Tourism Secretariat (SEDETUR), the operation of new flights from Moscow Russia, and Quebec, Canada has been officially was announced.

At a press conference in Madrid, the head of the State Tourism Secretariat (SEDETUR) Marisol Vanegas Pérez highlighted the success of the Mexican Caribbean in the 39th edition of FITUR, considered the largest tourism fair in Spain and one of the main on a global level.

“Governor Carlos Joaquín promotes tourism promotion and new products not to depend solely on holiday seasons, which allows economic growth and attract more investments that consolidate the entity as a regional tourist power”, Vanegas said.

With more than 1,131,305 international arrivals to Cancun and an annual increase of eight percent, Canada is one of the markets that grew the most in Quintana Roo last year.
